Beyond The Canvas

In 2025 FANTOPLAST Circular Design launched their first Artist Edition. In a collaborative material exploration painter Clément Bedel's approach to color and form merges with Lucas Schmid's design and metal craftsmanship in a series of unique table tops mounted on fitted steel frames. Each piece creates a material narrative, transforming Bedel's painted inner worlds into immersive landscapes that extend beyond the traditional canvas, providing these FANTOPLAST panels a distinctive aesthetic dimension.
